Vintage French Embossed Metal Tin

A wonderfully worn French metal tin with embossed lettering on the lid and traces of its original red paper finish still visible around the edges. The surface has been rubbed almost completely back to bare metal over time, leaving scratches, darkened areas, rust marks and fragments of color. The embossed French text gives it a beautiful old utilitarian feel - more workshop drawer than decorative box. Sold empty and exactly as found. Only one available.
