Dendritic Quartz & Mandarin Citrine Earrings with 18k Gold These earrings started with an incredible pair of dendritic quartz. The stones aren't identical, and that's exactly what makes them so good together. Each is remarkably clear, with its own branching black dendrites suspended inside and washes of warm golden mineral color moving through the quartz. Side by side they feel related but individual, almost like two tiny landscapes from the same place. Above them, faceted mandarin citrines bring in a rich, saturated golden glow that picks up the warmer tones within the quartz. I love the way that repetition of color pulls two very different stones together and makes the pairing feel intentional. Small 18k gold prongs add another flash of warmth against the oxidized sterling silver, while the articulated construction gives the earrings movement when worn. There is something a little quirky and unexpected about this pair, but still refined. The natural differences between the dendritic stones give them an artsy quality without making them feel mismatched, while the exceptional clarity of the quartz lets those intricate, almost botanical formations remain the focus. Dendritic quartz is traditionally associated with growth, patience, and a connection to the natural world. Citrine is associated with optimism, confidence, and abundance. ✧ Stones: Natural dendritic quartz & faceted mandarin citrine ✧ Length: Just over 1¾ inches from top of ear wire to bottom of dangle ✧ Metal: Sterling silver with solid 18k gold accents ✧ Ear Wires: Sterling silver huggie hoops style ✧ Details: Articulated two-stone design for movement One-of-a-kind and made with care in my studio.
