A serious vintage collector and expert from America's East Coast, John's collections are inspired by his vintage archive and personal style with close attention to fabric & design. The JG-46 Fleece Beach Jacket is based on a style produced by the famous sweatshirt manufacturer 'High Rock' during the 1920s and 30s, famed for its distinctive, heavyweight fleece garments. A prime example of the brand’s early designs, the original version features a richly textured salt-and-pepper fleece cut in a classic beach jacket style, made famous by Brown's Beach company from Massachusetts. Made in Japan, the Fleece Beach Jacket features a 100% wool outer with a mixed-wool lining. Two lower patch pockets provide practical storage, while a snap-button front offers easy wear.
