ASSA 500 Flexcore Cutaway in ASSA Ruko 2 Padlock Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New This custom ASSA 500 Flexcore cutaway is mounted in an ASSA Ruko 2 padlock body and exposes the inner workings of both the Flexcore platform and the Ruko 2 padlock. It is cut to expose as much of the pins as possible. Includes two keys. Because so much material has been removed to open up the pins, this piece is not ideal for picking practice. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and key cycling. As with any cutaway lock, gentle use is recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
