A wonderful antique Quebec 'Berthierville' Merchants Crock converted to a lamp. Beautiful muted colour & patina. The crock stamped 'AL Caisse Marchand Epiciere Vin Et Liqueurs Berthierville.' Arthur Louis Caisse (born circa 1854) was a prominent local businessman & general merchant. Old hairline around handle. Measures 21" h with shade. The crock measures 10" h. Newer shade with a bit wear.
