Tanseido is a brushmaker rooted in Kumano-cho, Hiroshima — the small town whose name is synonymous with the pinnacle of Japanese brushcraft, where generations of artisans have passed down the exacting standards this set was born from. White tanuki has long held a rarefied place among Japan's finest brush materials.
