EasyStand Evolv Medium · PNG50162-1 One frame, sixty ways to fit — and a path into the adult size The Evolv Medium is EasyStand's modular sit-to-stand frame for users roughly 4′0″ to 5′6″ tall and up to 200 lb, with over sixty support and positioning components on the same base frame. Standing takes three steps — adjust, transfer, pump up — via the standard hydraulic actuator or the optional Pow'r Up electric lift, and nothing about the build is final: components can be added at any time, and a Growth Kit converts the Medium into an Evolv Large when it is outgrown. Who it fits Older children, teenagers and smaller adults — approximately 48″ to 66″ tall, up to 200 lb, seat depth 14″ to 19″. Two ways to buy Itemised build or support package An itemised build lets the therapist specify every component. A support package bundles a tested combination at a single price, with no substitutions. Packages are simpler to fund and quicker to order, but if the assessment calls for anything outside the bundle, itemise — the saving is never large enough to justify compromising the fit. Features 01 · Positioning Built around the body's own pivot points The Evolv's pivot points sit in line with the body's natural pivot points, so hip, lateral and head supports stay where the therapist set them from sitting all the way to standing — the user rises through the supports rather than sliding against them, minimising shear. The contoured seat provides a maximum over-center stretch, and hip and knee contractures are accommodated through the multi-adjustable footplates and independent knee pad option rather than forced through them. Where more access is needed, four options open the seat up further: a larger transfer seat, a rotating seat that turns to meet the wheelchair, a swing-away front that pivots the knee pads and tray clear, and a removable back for standing-pivot or lift-assisted transfers. If supine positioning may ever be needed, look at the Bantam Medium instead; it covers the same 4′0″–5′6″, 200 lb range. A front frame and a matching tray are required selections — the base unit alone is not a complete stander. Frame and tray must come from the same family, and some combinations exclude others: the shadow tray requires a back, and swing-away components are not available with the mobile frame.
