Where the CL-6 relies on natural cotton, the CL-22 Micro Star Cloth steps up to high-tech microfiber with Teijin Microstar® fabric, from one of Japan's leading advanced textile fiber manufacturers. Same philosophy, higher level. The CL-22 is woven from Teijin Microstar® microfiber: fibers approximately five times finer than silk, with a triangular cross-section engineered at the micron scale. This geometry multiplies the surface contact between the cloth and the instrument's finish, and activates a capillary action that absorbs and retains oils, fingerprints and moisture rather than simply moving them around. The polyester/nylon composition with approximately 50% nylon content, higher than conventional microfibers, enhances durability and fine-particle capture performance. Size 300 x 290 mm, non-silicone. The CL-22 is used dry, with no added product. A few passes are enough to lift sweat residue, skin oils and fine dust without leaving any lint on the surface. On nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, the silicone-free composition ensures safe use. The cloth retains its performance after repeated washing: it is a durable tool, not a disposable.
