Zinnia ‘Dahlia Flowered Mix’

Botanical Name: Zinnia elegans Lifecycle: Annual Heritage: 1919 ‘Dahlia Flowered Mix’ is a popular Zinnia variety offering a wonderful blend of yellows, roses, scarlet, green, orange, pink, red, purple, and coral flowers. It’s tall growing and produces tightly packed semi-double and double flowers about 10cm in diameter. Zinnias are a great cut-and-come-again flower, yielding multiple cuts over the season. Nothing completes a colourful bouquet like homegrown Zinnias. They’re excellent for pollinator plantings. Zinnia seeds are easy to direct sow into the garden but they can also be tray sown and transplanted easily. SOWING: Spring – Early Summer Sow Direct, or Transplant Zinnia seeds are best sown in spring to early autumn.
