Antique Small Oak Welsh Dresser

A charming antique Welsh oak dresser of compact proportions. The upper section features three shelves beneath a shaped frieze with small side compartments. The base is fitted with two drawers retaining brass swan-neck handles above a shaped apron. Below is a full-width potboard, raised on simple turned front supports. The dresser has a warm oak tone, pleasing grain and a rich patina developed over many years. Overall, a lovely, honest example with good colour and proportions.
