This bottling from Murgo, one of Sicily's foremost producers, is sourced from grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. A blend of 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio, this is a beautifully fragrant and juicy rosso with lovely red fruit, spice and scorched earth notes, and a mineral-driven, bone-dry mouthfeel. 90/100 - A bit coy in the glass, the 2022 Etna Rosso slowly evolves with nuances of wild strawberry, sage and wet stone. It’s graceful and pliant with ripe wild berry fruits and rosy inner florals that arch across a core of brisk acidity.
