Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Mesh

The C-UAS Protective Mesh is a passive physical security solution designed to obstruct, intercept and contain low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles before they can enter or reach a protected area. It provides a non-electronic layer of anti-drone technology using high-strength mesh or netting as a physical barrier against unauthorised UAV intrusion. Physical anti-drone netting is commonly treated as a passive counter-UAS measure, distinct from RF jamming or other electronic mitigation systems. The system can be configured for perimeter, vertical, overhead, corridor or enclosure protection, depending on the site layout and required coverage. When appropriately specified and tensioned, the mesh can physically restrict drone movement, disrupt the flight path and, depending on the UAV type and mesh configuration, entangle rotors or prevent the aircraft from reaching the protected asset. Designed as a ground-based passive C-UAS protection layer, the mesh can complement existing security fencing, anti-climb systems, razor or concertina wire and electronic drone-detection systems. Because the protection is physical rather than electronic, it does not depend on RF jamming, GPS disruption or active signal interference.
