Effortless Age

Instantly charmed by its vintage patina and shimmering sizable gems, I wasn't quite sure how I'd use this antique jewel with its oversized pin attachment that would have originally secured a ladies hat through her hair. (I loved imagining the stylish gal who would have boldly adorned her hat with such a statement accessory!) I finally decided to remove the pin, allowing the 3-ring interlace design to become a statement accessory for a lady of the modern era - a new life of sorts for this beautiful bauble. Now it sparkles subtly at the side of a pair of polished turquoise bead strands, the greens, grays, and blues all intermingling with effortless style, finished at back with glass beads from Africa and a brass toggle clasp. The necklace measures 18” in length at its shortest strand.
