Red Tube Brooch

A one-of-a-kind oval tube shaped enamel brooch. The top of the oval tube is banded in red enamel and below that is a block of black enamel that has been scratched away, exposing the white enamel beneath in a horizontal pattern of repeating arches that are filled with vertical lines. The tube is held by a gently arched silver wire with one visible horizontal bar and legs that extend below the oval copper tube. Silver is oxidized, pin stem is steel, handmade by Tanya Crane. Brooch measures approximately 110 mm long and 25 mm wide, and weighs approximately 20 grams.
