Birrificio Artigianale WAR was founded in 2017 in Cassina de’ Pecchi (MI) as the natural continuation of the family’s agricultural business: an independent farm brewery that directly grows over 80% of the malt it uses across almost 17 hectares of land. From barley to glass, with a short supply chain and complete control over the raw materials. Today, it produces around 400,000 L a year in a modern brewery built inside the company’s former hayloft — the exposed roof trusses are still there, telling the story.
