Ricasoli Castello Di Brolio
Grapes: Sangiovese Character: A big and deep nose with as much concentrated as elegant red fruit, spiced with nuances of vanilla and toasted notes from the oak barrels in a modern and youthful style with delicious spiciness. The palate is just over medium-bodied, youthfully firm with a clear but ripe tannic structure and a good cherry fruit that gives the taste richness and length. Goes well with: Excellent with meat dishes; veal, lamb and cow. About the wine: Chianti Classico, just south of Florence in Tuscany. Classico means that the grapes are grown in the most central parts of the Chianti area. The wine is aged for about two years in a combination of new and old oak barrels of 500 liters.
