Finca Potosí - CGLE17 Washed - Cafe Granja La Esperanza (Colombia)

Produced by Cafe Granja La Esperanza at Finca Potosí in the Valle de Cauca region of Colombia. This limited lot is the CGLE-17 varietal, a hybrid of Geisha and Caturra, built to be more disease resistant, adaptable to dry seasons, and to increase yield. The coffee maintains those floral characteristics of the Geisha, with the sweetness and increased body of the Caturra. This lot was processed as a Washed, a stunningly clean cup with notes of Red Apple, White Peach, Mandarin, and a bergamot-like florality. It has a intense aroma, with a brown sugar type sweetness.
