Café de Maraba is the pioneering specialty coffee of Rwanda, grown by the Abahuzamugambi cooperative in the high-altitude, volcanic hills of the southern Huye district. This 500g medium-roasted ground coffee offers a balanced, full- bodied profile with vibrant citrus, red berry, and sweet caramel. Origin & Production Bean Type: 100% Arabica of the Red Bourbon variety. Altitude: Grown at approximately 1,700 meters above sea level. Processing: Handpicked cherries, fully washed, and sun-dried on raised beds. Fair Trade: Supports smallholder farmer cooperatives to improve local community infrastructure, health insurance, and education. Flavor Profile & Brewing Aroma: Rich, fragrant, and fruit-forward. Acidity & Body: Bright, vibrant acidity with a smooth, medium body. Tasting Notes: Lemon-citrus, redcurrant, and a sweet cocoa finish.
