Nitrate CHEMets® Visual Test Kits Nitrate CHEMets® Visual Test Kit accurately measures nitrate levels from 0-4.5 ppm as N. With the use of cadmium, nitrate is converted to nitrite and then combined with a primary aromatic amine to create a highly visible pink-orange azo dye. Results are expressed as ppm (mg/L) NO3-N or NO3. To convert results from ppm NO3-N to ppm NO3, multiply by 4.43. Method: Cadmium Reduction Analysis Time: 15 Minutes Includes: 30 Tests Comparator 30 Cadmium Foil Packs 25 mL Sample Cup Reaction Tube with Lid Instructions . Shelf life: The refill and comparator contained in this kit have shelf lives of 12 months. Notice: As of 7/8/2024 the comparator in this kit has been updated to include multiple ranges. Please reference your instructions to ensure you are using the correct scale.
