Āhuru - Fuchsia Blossom

Āhuru is dyed to order. Please allow 1-3 weeks for dispatch - - - - - Hand-dyed yarn, 80% merino / 20% possum. Colourway: Fuchsia Blossom. Variegated pink/purple tones. 4ply, 100g skeins/approx 400m. Needles 3-4.5 mm. 8ply, 100g skeins/approx 238m. Needles 4-6 mm. A wonderful yarn spun here in NZ – merino blended with possum. It's a very soft yarn with a stunning halo. The yarn is woollenspun and due to this construction and the possum fibre, it's very plump. The 4ply knits as 4-5ply or even light 8ply. The 8ply knits as 8-10ply. Beautiful for stranded and fair isle knitting. Suitable for garments, hats, scarves, mittens, and big, cosy shawls. This yarn is not superwash treated. Gentle handle wash. Due to this yarn being non superwash, please handle it gently so that it doesn't felt. This yarn is hand-dyed, colour variations are intentional. After dyeing, the yarn has been thoroughly washed and rinsed. The utmost has been done to reproduce the colour accurately, but please keep in mind that different screens vary.
