Château Picque Caillou is a wine estate based in the commune of Mérignac, in the western suburbs of Bordeaux city and falling under the well-regarded Pessac-Leognan appellation of the Graves. As with most Pessac-Leogna the estate produces both red and white wines.The estate dates back to 1755, when the château was built, and has seen a succession of owners over the centuries. Bordeaux's urban sprawl has since surrounded the estate although a small area of woodlan (the Bois de Burck) abuts the property. The 1986 vintage was very good for the region Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv 12.5% Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level base of neck.
