I Saw a Path - Leather & Acrylic on Canvas - 16" x 20"

Have you ever felt like you've been somewhere before? This series plays with that fleeting feeling of familiarity. So close you can almost touch it, but immediately lost if you focus too hard. Hand cut leathers, a byproduct of Norwegian Wood furniture production, is combined with acrylic paint and metallic finishes. This piece is created using archival quality glue on canvas, and finished with a setting spray. This allows the leather to breath but also protects it.
