Sonia Delaunay (René Gauch)

Dearly beloved Sonia Delaunay was celebrated with a posthumous exhibition in 1987. The focus of said exhibition was rhythm and color. It was held in Zurich and if this poster is any indication, it looked rhythmic and colorful. Designed by René Gauch, born in 1936 in Catania, Sicily, to Swiss parents. Apart from being a visual designer, he worked as a teacher, was head of the first vocational school of design in Switzerland and the first director of the technical college of color design, known today as “Haus der Farbe” (House of Color).
