Aberfeldy 2012 | 10 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel Single Cask
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46% Distilled at Aberfeldy in 2012 and matured for 10 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Premier Barrel range. This Highland single malt was drawn from a single cask and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The release was limited to just 223 individually numbered ceramic decanters. Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each small-batch or single-cask release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle. Aberfeldy was established by John Dewar & Sons at the end of the 19th century and has long played an important role in Dewar's blended Scotch whisky. Independent bottlings of Aberfeldy offer an opportunity to explore the distillery's spirit outside its familiar official releases, with single casks such as this providing a particularly focused example of its character. Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
