Old Sailor Coffee Liqueur

27% ABV Old Sailor Coffee Liqueur was inspired by Ponce, a drink from Italian coastal areas often drunk by sailors that was moka coffee with Rum, Anis, orange peel and cinnamon. Made from a base of cold brew coffee from the oldest roastery in Italy, Torrefazione Barbera. Seperate infusions of Columbian rum with Tuscan orange peel and star anise from the Marche. The coffee and infusions are blended and sweetened with cane sugar, but never more than 17% and with half of the sugar of most commercial coffee liqueurs. It is balanced and elegant with rich coffee flavor and zesty orange and sweet anise on the finish. The label is based on a photo of an Italian naval sailor from 1920 and was drawn by Milanese tattoo artist Stizzo.
