Bathi (Pandanus Basket)

This Bathi basket is crafted from young Pandanus spiralis leaves by Yolŋu weavers of Arnhem Land, using traditional techniques to create both functional and decorative baskets.

• The basket uses coiling techniques adapted from Indigenous women in Southeast Australia.
• The weavers exclusively use natural dyes derived from locally sourced plants.
