Ethiopia Konga Microlot
This coffee is light roast, from the Gedeb region of Konga, Ethiopia, grown at 1800-2000 meters altitude. It has flavors of blueberry cheesecake, rhubarb, grapefruit zest, and a floral hint.
- The coffee is from the Konga Kebele in the Yirgacheffe District of the Gedeo Zone in Southern Ethiopia.
- It is produced by 800 small-scale farmers cultivating 1,600 hectares of mainly heirloom varieties.
- The coffee is shade-grown, allowing for slow cherry maturation and complex flavor development.
- After harvest, the cherries are sun-dried on raised beds for 15 to 21 days.
