A vibrant, vigorous, hardy evergreen tree that produces an ample crop of beautiful lemons, medium to large in size. This beautiful tree can be seen in many backyards. Lisbon is a classic, heirloom lemon with bright yellow, thin, smooth skin. Fruit is juicy and high in acidity and has the characteristic bitter, acidic lemon flavour. Fruit is ready to harvest in autumn and winter and a lesser amount in spring. An easy to manage plant that is very tolerant to both cold and heat. 3-6 m H x 3-4m W. Plant in a sunny, protected position in well drained soil in container or garden. Shelter from strong winds especially during flowering or while fruit is forming.
