The town of El Diamante was only founded a few decades ago, but it has already become known as a hub for some of the best coffee in the area. The town's proximity to the border with Ecuador has made it easy for local producers to exchange coffee varieties and production techniques with their neighbors across the border. Our connection to the Diamante community is through out sourcing partner Cynthia Landeo at Collective Bean and Diamantino producer Roger Chilcon, who are working together to connect coffee buyers with the community and provide the best economic opportunities to the producers of El Diamante.
