Choose Your Wood This table is available in two exceptional domestic hardwoods: Black Walnut and White Oak. Walnut is rich and warm — deep chocolate tones with a grain that moves. It's the wood that makes people stop and look twice. White Oak is cleaner and more open, with a pale, straight grain that suits modern, coastal, and Scandinavian-influenced spaces. Both are solid wood through and through. No veneers. No MDF. What you see is what the whole table is made of. Choose Your Finish For a classic look, both species are available with a Satin Clear Finish — durable, clear, and built for daily use. For something with more character, we offer six Rubio Monocoat colors. Rubio is a plant-based penetrating oil that bonds directly with the wood fiber rather than forming a film on top — the result is a matte, natural finish that feels like the wood itself: Natural — brings out the wood's true tone with a warm, barely-there enhancement White — soft and translucent, lets the grain read through a light wash Cotton White — warmer than White, with a gentle, sun-bleached quality Light Grey — cool and calm, pairs well with concrete, linen, and matte metals Dark Grey — deeper and more dramatic, with strong contrast against the wood grain Modern Black — bold without being flat — the texture of the wood still comes through Craftsmanship That Shows The base is solid, the joinery is tight, and the proportions are worked out.
