Pacific FC 2024 Away Shirt
PACIFIC FC - AWAY SHIRT 2024 Pacific Football Club, known as Pacific FC or simply The Tridents, are a professional football club based in Langford, in Greater Victoria, British Columbia, competing in the Canadian Premier League. Founded in 2018, they were one of the eight founding clubs of the CPL and play their home matches at Starlight Stadium. The club's colours - purple, teal, and white - are drawn from the natural landscape of Vancouver Island, and their crest takes the shape of a Douglas fir, a tree native to the island. The 2024 away shirt, manufactured by Macron, is known as 'The Resilience Kit' - a second collaboration with Coast Salish artist Maynard Johnny Jr. following the 2023 alternate. Built on a predominantly white base, salmon graphics appear in purple and teal throughout, the salmon representing the endurance of Indigenous peoples through the challenges of oppression in Canada. The jersey is constructed from Macron's ECO Fabric, made entirely from 100% recycled polyester. On the pitch, 2024 was a season of dramatic recovery under head coach James Merriman. Pacific sat bottom of the CPL as late as August after a seven-game stretch that returned just two goals and a single point - only for a strong final quarter to clinch the fifth and final playoff spot with a 1-0 home win over Forge FC on the last day. The post-season ended almost as soon as it began, the Tridents falling 2-0 at York United in the play-in round. New Zealand international Moses Dyer netted 8 times and was the clubs top scorer.
