Focus Reentry

Here at the coffee ride, we believe that there is a coffee out there for everyone, and that everyone has the right to a happy life. That is why we're partnering with Focus Reentry. on our Cause Coffee Partnership program. With this program, $5 of every bag of coffee purchased will go directly back to the organization. A way for you to enjoy the coffee that you love, while also enjoying the feeling that you're helping make a positive impact in the world. What is Focus Reentry? From their website... Focus Reentry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was founded to serve the needs of people in the Boulder County Jail before, during, and after their release and reentry into the community. As we began our work with those returning to our community, we recognized the many challenges to success such as homelessness, poverty, behavioral health and substance use issues. We built our programs and grew our organization so that we could help each client address their greatest challenges to success! Today, our services span across Boulder County, both inside and outside of the jail. Through Street Outreach, Focus on Housing and Building Home, we help clients work from the ground up. Our staff and our dedicated volunteers help people in all three programs stabilize, achieve self-sufficiency, and rebuild their lives during the challenging and critical period(s) of reentry and/or returning to a home. With support that begins in jail or out in the community, is present throughout the streets, and continues to a stable home – our clients gain the benefit of champions in the community, and are able to make profound changes in their lives. The evolution of Focus Reentry reflects our deep commitment to social justice and the belief that reentry is not merely a return to society, but a pivotal opportunity to rebuild lives. By expanding our services, we address the root causes of recidivism and provide returning citizens with the resources, dignity, and opportunities they deserve. From its inception in 2005 as a response to a critical gap in reentry support, Focus Reentry has grown from a modest mentoring program to a robust, multi-faceted organization.
