In this upside-down world, people walk backward, broken things reassemble themselves, and death turns into birth. The story follows butcher Bedřich Frydrych, who appears to return to life after the blade of a guillotine mysteriously rises and restores him. As events unfold backward, what once seemed tragic gradually transforms into something absurd and unexpectedly humorous. Murders become reunions, funerals resemble arrivals, and destruction turns into creation. By reversing time, the film playfully challenges perception and turns a dark tale of jealousy and crime into a strangely optimistic comedy with an unconventional happy ending.
