CHANTEUSE NAPKIN

Inspired by costume patterns and set illustrations of the early 20th century avant-garde theater, the collection is structured around bringing patterns together that alternate between expressive bold prints and disciplined fine ink line. Organic pods, plumes, scallops, and florals are abstracted and reinterpreted by hand drawing. The palette is drawn from Indian miniature paintings - vermilion and rose, kohl and tarnished gold, pale stone and warm sandalwood - colors that read mineral and time-softened. Chanteuse is warm, melodic, glamorous and expressive. Our block printed napkin is hand printed on a cotton/linen textile. Sold in a set of four. - 20 x 20 inches - 50% cotton / 50% linen - Wash cold separately, lay flat to dry. Iron if needed
