DOMAINE DUREUIL-JANTHIAL COTEAUX BOURGUIGNONS 2023
Vincent Dureuil took over his family's Rully estate in 1994 at age 24 and has spent three decades elevating this Côte Chalonnaise village through organic farming and meticulous parcel-by-parcel winemaking. This Coteaux Bourguignons blends 90% Pinot Noir with 10% Gamay from the Mordeloup lieu-dit, planted in 1970 on clay-limestone soils continuous with the Côte d'Or to the north. Destemmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged 12 months in barrel (20% new) before six months in stainless steel, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Bright red cherry, crushed raspberry, and a whisper of violet over silky, juicy tannins.
