Cotton Wick The wicks used by Bookend Candle Co are made up of braided cotton with thin paper threads to provide structure without the need of a core. They are zinc and lead free. Fragrance Oils All of their fragrance oils are phthalate-free and do not require a prop 65 warning. We choose to use fragrance oils over essential oils due to better scent throw, cost, and overall performance.
