This soft and sophisticated single-ply yarn is made from extrafine merino wool (94%) and silk (6%). Its unique gradient dyeing and delicate color palette add warmth and subtle elegance to your knitted pieces. Zekkei is ideal for both knitting and crochet. Zekkei is slightly thicker than the similar Hiro yarn. It can be used on its own or combined with, for example, Katia Atenea (merino–cashmere) or Silky Mohair. One 100 g beehive-shaped Zekkei cake contains over 270 meters of yarn. The merino wool originates from Australia and South America, and the yarn is spun in Spain. One Zekkei cake is enough to knit a beautiful large shawl or a cardigan for a baby (0–24 months). For a women’s long-sleeved sweater in size EU 38, you will need 4–5 cakes.
