Yamaha NS-10M Studio Monitors Matched Pair in Excellent Condition

For sale: Matched pair of Yamaha NS-10M Studio monitors in excellent condition. The cabinets and crossovers are matched (serial #163741), the woofers are matched (serial #641750), and the tweeters are from the same lot (serial #1Z0711 and 1Z0811). This is a built set using the best matched components we could find over the last few months. Note: I had already installed one of the tweeters when I thought to take photos of the serial #s (see photos 28 and 29). Details below: The cabinets were in great shape to begin with, but have been restained and given a fresh satin polycoat and a very light waxing. All corners are in excellent shape. There are of course a few blemishes, but these look fantastic overall. The serial # stickers are a bit yellowed from age. Both tweeter gaskets are present and properly seated with a mild adhesive to hold them in place for easier mounting. Both tweeters are properly centered in their positions. Both woofers are nice and clean in excellent condition. The paper has very slight yellowing from age, but it is 100% even and only noticeable when you set them up next to a pair of NS-10s in mint condition. Both coils in each crossover have been reinforced with modern adhesive. We pack very carefully, but these should be good to go for the long haul from here. The left tweeter grille was damaged at some point during its life. We replaced it with our best backup grille. It's not perfect, but close enough that it doesn't detract from the clean look of this set (see photo 11). As mentioned, the woofers are very slightly yellowed from age. There is also a blemish in the lower left corner of the metal finish one of them (see photo 30). The cabinets have a number of blemishes throughout, but overall look very clean. No sticky strips or residue on the bottom, which is rare. Captain Black knows how to ship NS-10s safely and has shipped dozens of pairs with no shipping damage.
