Music Ekphrasis

First Thursday of the month drop-in session. Everyone brings a song, together we listen and write. $20 Instruction by Seneca Jakosky Seneca Jakosky moved to Bend to be with family and bring to life her multimedia internet-bound book/theory about language, media, perception and transaction. She is particularly interested in the translation and transition from the page to the screen, the relationship between body and interface, and she works across mediums (writing, film, music, painting, and ceramics) to get to the root of linguistic representation and creative expression. Her work will be self-published later this year on The Web. Seneca has a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Publishing, and Editing from the University of Melbourne, as well as a life’s worth of thinking, musing, and writing. “It is a delight and a dream to share my philosophy on writing with the lovely people of Bend.”
