Inspired by running shoes in 2014 and reimagined for kids. The GEL-CUMULUS® 16 GRADE SCHOOL sneaker sources inspiration from the distance running shoe that was popular in 2014. Its upper construction references the look of technical mid-2010s running shoes, featuring a fusion of synthetic leather overlays, no-sew paneling, and open mesh underlays. The tooling design is also influenced by ASICS® Institute of Sport Science insights and developed with greater flexibility in the forefoot and stability in the midfoot to help support kids' growing feet.
