La Calmette - Serpent à Plumes Blanc 2024

(Cahors, France) A lively and expressive white wine crafted from a blend of the rare grapes Noual (majority), Sauvignon Blanc, Sylvaner, and Chenin Blanc. The grapes are co-planted on a 0.8-hectare plot of 26-year-old vines, organically farmed on south-facing, clay-limestone slopes at the top of a hillside. Made by Maya Sallée and Nicolas Fernandez, who established this small estate with a focus on organic and biodynamic viticulture. Their commitment to minimal intervention winemaking ensures that each bottle reflects the unique terroir of their vineyards
