Made of a glass filled nylon mixture, these wheels can be used in both wet and dry high temperature applications. The hard tread rolls easily and is resistant to oil, grease, most acids, chemicals, and cleaning solutions. All these features make this one of our favorite high temp wheels! They offer longer wear than high temp phenolic wheels, are kinder on floors, and quieter rolling. This caster features an all-steel top lock brake that performs well in a wide range of applications, including those involving heat. The side-mounted brake pedal provides a more compact design than face contact & total lock brakes. The compact design minimizes the swivel radius, allowing the caster to spin freely 360 degrees with minimal obstruction. Casters with front-mounted brake pedals require more clearance to achieve full rotation.
