Brendan Fernandes: In the Round, the Museum's first artist-in-residence, is the next iteration of its A Tale of Today series that places contemporary art in dialogue with the art, architecture, and design of the Driehaus Museum. The performance score, a text-based work written by the artist, developed in collaboration with The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia and designed by Sarah Edmands Martin, transposes cues for movement onto larger swaths of textile, recalling the visual structure of concrete poetry.
