Kawasaki Seal Kit Voyager 1200

Kawasaki Voyager XII Water Pump Seal Kit, NEW. This seal kit contains the Nitrile seal as well as the 2 O-rings needed to replace this lip seal. The lip seal was only sold with a new water pump, long discontinued and is not displayed in the Honda illustrations. This kit fits OEM Kawasaki pump p/n 49044-1082. This listing is for the lip seal, and qty 2 O-rings 90mm cover o-ring and 33mm o-ring. This seal is known to get brittle and if this happens, two things could happen. First, pieces of the seal come off, it goes into the transmission and then to your oil pump. Second, it keeps the coolant out of the oil or the oil out of the coolant, depending on the condition of your radiator cap and system. NOTE: If your leaking coolant from the small weep hole in the bottom of the pump, this seal will not fix that problem, which requires a spring loaded seal I have listed in an overhaul kit as well as overhauled pumps.
