Oclapet is a veterinary prescription tablet for dogs containing oclacitinib maleate, a targeted JAK (Janus kinase) inhibitor. It may help control itching and skin inflammation associated with allergic and atopic dermatitis in dogs. Unlike broad immunosuppressants, it selectively targets the signaling pathways that drive allergic itch, often providing relief within hours of the first dose. Manufactured in India by Vivaldis Animal Health & Food Pvt. Ltd., Oclapet is available in three strengths (3.6 mg, 5.4 mg, and 16 mg) to support weight-based dosing as directed by a veterinarian. Body Weight Recommended Strength Frequency 3–6 kg 3.6 mg tablet Twice daily (first 14 days), then once daily 6–9 kg 5.4 mg tablet Twice daily (first 14 days), then once daily >9 kg 16 mg tablet Twice daily (first 14 days), then once daily May be given with or without food. Your veterinarian may adjust the dose based on your dog's response. ⚠ Not for dogs under 12 months of age or under 3 kg body weight.
