Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) 2023 - 14.5% abv Chateau Fombrauge is the largest of the Grand Cru Classe estates in the St Emilion and saw its first harvest in 1599. From the Canolle family in the fifteenth century right through to current owner, Bernard Magrez, six families have succeeded one another at the estate, which boasts an exceptional terroir. The wine is matured using traditional methods, combined with innovative, environmentally-friendly practices which lend elegance and complexity.
