Description Maha Surya Shanti in Sanskrit means Great Sun Pacifier. We use this cream when the Pitta in the skin called Bhrajaka Pitta is aggravated. The cream is excellent for people with high Pitta Dosha or anyone whose skin feels hot touch. It is also great for rashes, sunburn or just too much Sun on the skin. You may apply it as a sunscreen but understand it doesn’t meet FDA sunscreen standards and doesn’t contain any sun blocking ingredients. Also, it isn’t waterproof. Applying the cream before going out in the Sun improves the skin’s resistance natural resistance to Sunburn. The cream is safe to apply on the face as well. Maha Surya Shanti is very cooling to the skin with Zinc, Vetiver and Sandalwood in a base of Goat’s Milk.
