Go for a paddle on Goose Lake and learn a few basic strokes, entry and exiting a canoe, proper paddling form, and stroke improvement. Plus take a tour along the shoreline and visit Goose Creek. Sheena Melin is an active Junior Forest Leader, Parent, and canoeing enthusiast. Sheena is trained as a Waterfront Canoe Instructor and has Moving Water(River) Tandem Canoe Skill Certifications. Session Length about 2 hrs Meet at main campfire and drive 10 minutes to the Goose Lake day use area. Canoe and gear supplied - or bring your own if you have something to paddle. Fee - $10 to cover gear, canoes, trailer, and insurance coverage with Paddle Canada. Pay to Sheena at start of session. Dale or Colleen may also be guiding based on the amount of people signed up.
