What is Camp Nowhere? Camp Nowhere is a four-part immersive storytelling and knitting experience created by Samantha Hardman (me) of A Whimsical Wood Yarn Co. Over the course of four installments, you’ll follow Samantha and her trip to Camp Nowhere through either paperback volumes delivered to your mailbox or audiobook access delivered digitally. Alongside the story, you’ll get the Camp Nowhere shawl pattern in four installments digitally AND 4 physical copies mailed to you, allowing your project to unfold as the story does. It’s not a knit-along, a traditional book club, or a mystery box. It is a story-driven experience where a novel and a shawl pattern are revealed together over time and delivered to your mailbox in four installments that include little extras. Camp Nowhere is a darkly funny slow-burn folk horror story about isolation, questionable life choices, and the kind of exhaustion that makes a person briefly consider walking into the forest just to avoid going home.
