The oak used in this ring is sourced from reclaimed whisky casks, where it has spent years maturing Kentucky Bourbon spirits before being repurposed into something lasting. A material with history Each inlay is created using carefully prepared whisky barrel oak, placed by hand into a fine 1mm or statement 2mm channel and sealed beneath a clear, durable resin. The surface is polished smooth, while the natural grain and variation remain visible beneath, giving depth without losing refinement. Optional metal accents, including copper, silver or 24ct gold, can be added through the product options. No two rings will ever be identical. The organic nature of the wood ensures each piece carries its own pattern and tone, shaped both by its previous life and by hand. Protected and built to last All inlay materials are carefully sealed beneath a clear, jewellery-grade two-part epoxy resin. This creates a smooth, durable surface that protects the wood from everyday exposure and helps maintain its appearance over time. It also creates a barrier between the inlay and the skin, making the ring comfortable for daily wear.
